Job Description
Our client is a rapidly expanding specialist retail and e-commerce business and they are now looking to recruit an Accounts & Finance Manager / Company Accountant.
This is a highly varied role where you will be the number one finance person for the business and your main duties will be:
· Daily processing of the sales and purchase ledgers
· Daily allocation of cash and supplier payments
· Credit control and customer statements as required
· Reconciliation of bank statements
· Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
· Quarterly VAT returns
· Other ad hoc accounts duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the business.
· Receive, make and divert telephone calls as required – taking messages where appropriate
We are looking for somebody who has experience in a hands-on, varied accounting role and who is conversant with Sage line 50.
Please note that a CRB/DBS check will be required for the successful applicant
Hours of work are 9am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 4pm Friday and there is free car parking on site. Interviews are ongoing so apply now
