Job Description
Our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Epsom, Surrey. They have a diverse client portfolio and an excellent reputation for quality of service. They now seek an active ACA or ACCA studier with experience of working within an Accounting Practice, to join their firm as an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior.
The role offers lots of variety and you will be working with a wide-ranging client portfolio, including SME's, LLP's and Charities. As an Assistant Accountant, you will enjoy full study support and receive excellent training, working with highly professional and experienced staff.
The main duties are as follows:
Preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts
Monthly Management Accounts reporting
Assisting with client audits
Quarterly VAT Returns
Assisting with Corporation Tax Returns
The core IT systems used are Sage, QuickBooks and Xero, so previous knowledge of any of these packages is desirable.
Ideally, applicants will have at least two years of experience gained within a similar role and be keen to develop a long term career within Practice.
