Job Description
I am currently recruiting for a firm of chartered accountants. Due to ongoing success, they are currently expanding their team and looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent role, with the flexible working.

Typical duties include:

* Preparing accounts from client records using a variety of software

* Drafting basic tax computations and completing personal tax returns

* Producing monthly management accounts and VAT returns

* Liaising with clients in a professional manner and dealing with client queries

* Managing own time effectively

The successful candidate will have:

* AAT part qualified/qualified or ACA/ACCA part qualified

* Knowledge of VAT Experience of using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks Online

* Experience of working in an accountancy practice

* Client facing experience
