Job Description
Experienced Accounts Administrator near Epping
Full time – Office Based – Mon to Fri 9.00am – 5.30pm
£24,000 – £28,000 subject to experience
The successful candidate will be hard working, diligent, consciences and have an eye for detail. They will report into the Finance Manager and Finance Director and will have 2- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Key requirements:
· AAT Level 2 or above
· Must be proficient Sage Line 50 and Excel
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Confident with telephone communication
· Excellent computer literacy skills
· Understanding of Double Entry Bookkeeping
· Organised, with attention to detail and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Able to use own initiative to resolve day to day issues
· Experience of Group Accounting Procedures would be favourable but essential
· Due to the location of the business access to own transport is essential
General responsibilities of the role
· Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks
· Credit Control experience
· Assist with preparation of VAT Returns
· Understanding of CIS for Contractors & Sub-Contractors
· Bank reconciliation
· Prepare and Post Monthly Journals
· Assisting with Companies House administration and filing requirements
· Helping to produce monthly cash flow forecasts
· Reconciling Customer and Supplier accounts
· Assisting with Month End and Year End Duties
