An independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in central Scotland with an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with audit experience to join the accounts department. 2022 starter – A lovely business with a quality and people centric approach!
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Preparation of Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charitable organisations
* Preparation and completion of company and charity audits
* Preparation of Corporate and Personal Tax Returns
* Preparation of Management Accounts
* Submission of documents to Companies House; HMRC and other bodies i.e. OSCR
* Corresponding with various organisations on behalf of clients
* Dealing with client queries in a professional and timely manner
Skills:
* At least 3 years experience in private practice is essential
* Experience of accountancy software i.e. Iris and Sage, although full training and support will be provided if required
* Audit experience is essential
* Good Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Outlook and Word
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise jobs is key
