Job Description
AMS Tech Skilling partner with expert training providers to train you in the fundamentals of Front Office pre-trade technology, equipping you for a role with our partner – one of the UK's leading Banks – where you would put your learning into practice, along with your previous acquired experience of 1 years of Operational Governance.
The Technology Governance & Risk Analyst will provide critical execution support on technology, regulatory, risk and audit engagements and initiatives across all technology domains. The role will directly report to the Technology Governance & Risk Manager. This is a recently created team, so there is plenty of opportunity to have a real impact. You will also be working very closely with other departments, including Technology Audit, Risk and Compliance.
This is a hybrid role, and you will be two days in the office per week and three days from home. You must live within daily travel of either London or Glasgow where the bank has its location.
Candidates will have:
* IT Audit or IT Risk experience in any industry. Familiar with regulatory expectations and Industry risk standards and frameworks such as ISO, COBIT etc.
* Suppliers’ management/governance processes and outsourced 3rd party systems
* Management of IT Incidents/Problems/Changes and experience supporting live service material events
You will also require:
* operational governance experience (1 to 2 years)
* An interest to work in tech
* Interested in looking at the governance and risk items
The Training
During the first 12 – 18month period, immersive virtual training will be given to ensure you have the necessary skills to move across to permanent employment with our Partner. We have a hands-on approach to training, challenging you to work on real life projects and giving you real world experience throughout the programme.
Once you have successfully completed training, you would be onboarded with the client. So, don’t worry if you have not worked in Tech or Finance before as long as you have the interest, we will do the rest.
