Hybrid working 2 days home, 3 days City of London
Role Purpose
Develop and support a group wide reporting strategy that incorporates group ExCo MI and Cost Management reporting to ensure that my client have a market leading reporting that provides valuable insight to the ExCo in a timely and consistent manner.
Main Duties and Responsibilites
Responsible for developing a consistant monthly MI production strategy for the group on a monthly basis
Develop relationships with key business functions to ensure that insightful and challenging commentary is provided to key stakeholders
Highlight trends and risks in key performance metrics: including written premium, expenses and losses
Demonstrate ownership pf all aspects of global reporting process
Coordinates key planning periods for expenses
Proactive in making recommendations/ solutions to positiovely influence trends, mitigate risks and manage controls
Explain and advise to business stakeholders with corporate results and provide insights, support and influence
Experience Required
Previous experience in the insurance / financial services industry would be preferred
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a strong attention to detail
Proven planning and organisational skills
Business partnering and exposure to senior stakeholders
Continuous Improving focus
Ability to build strong relationshops across a global business
Very strong IT and Excel skills
