Second Charge Advisor – Cardiff
Salary: up to £35,000 basic with uncapped earning potential

Responsibilities:
* To answer phone calls in a polite and helpful manner, being sure to direct calls to the appropriate colleague promptly, or taking and passing on clear messages whenever required.
* To undertake initial advisor calls with potential clients to fact-find, recording the outcome of those conversations on our in house CRM systems
* To source appropriate finance options from a dedicated panel of lenders using best practice.
* Undertake the key research requirements into complex cases to ensure correct lender appointment from the outset
* To pass our own Networks standards to achieve CAS Status (whether CAS status currently or not)
* To meet with lenders on a regular basis to build relationships & stay up to date with criteria changes.
* To proactively assist our clients and partner introducers to answer any queries they may have.
* To review and check incoming application documentation.
* To update internal spreadsheets/documentation with the required information accurately.
* To maintain client folders, documentation, and in-house CRM systems, ensuring information is accu[1]rate and stored in line with our GDPR policies.
* To identify inefficiencies and suggest processes to overcome them.
* To generate own client leads as well as working with leads provided by the client
* To proactively contribute to the achievement of both individual and company weekly, annual and monthly targets
* To create engaging and informative posts on the company’s social media pages.
* To positively represent the company by attending training courses, networking events and lender meetings.
Knowledge and qualifications:
* Full CeMAP qualified (1,2 & 3)
* CAS Status preferred (minimum 2yrs experience)
Skills and experience:
* Good standard of verbal and written English.
* Exemplary approach to customer care and experience of working with a caseload of clients.
* Excellent IT skills (Word and Excel essential).
* Keen eye for detail, able to proofread documents and spot errors.
* Able to work effectively as part of a team, with helpful attitude and strong communication skills. Able to prioritise tasks in accordance with urgency and importance.
* Reliable with good time keeping skills.
