Job Description
B&CE have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a PMO Analyst.
This role is a hybrid opportunity with the successful candidate working both at home and in the office.
Main Purpose:
Reporting to the PMO Manager, the PMO Analyst is to be embedded within the change portfolio to enable the successful delivery of projects, workstreams and the wider portfolio. Work collaboratively with Project Managers in the production of project products and reporting, ensuring that the relevant standards for the delivery process are met. Produce governance reports and M.I. to provide oversight of projects and workstreams within the change portfolio, reporting to governance groups and senior management as required.
The post holder will be expected to work across all workstreams and line management boundaries to ensure effective and successful delivery of the portfolio.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Previous experience of working in a similar role either in a programme or PMO environment.
* Works on own initiative and communicates effectively as a team member.
* Ability to effectively influence to achieve the desired outcomes.
* Be proactive in approach.
* Ability to challenge delivery partners to provide assurance on their progress against delivery plans.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
* Able to analyse information and present in a clear and accurate manner, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to write formal and factual reports, identifying key issues.
* Able to identify problems and determine solutions.
* Works towards tight deadlines whilst working to multiple and conflicting deadlines.
* Maintains personal composure under pressure and experienced in managing challenging and pressurised circumstances.
* Understands the issues facing the business in the wider context.
* Ability to resolve conflict.
* Assertiveness and negotiating skills.
* Strong IT skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
Desirable:
* Experience of working in an Agile environment.
* P30 certified or equivalent
* Prince2 or Agile Project Manager
Experience of Visio and use of SharePoint for document management
