Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent a friendly financial company who are now seeking to appoint a capable and experienced Payroll Officer to work 3 days per week from their lovely offices in the Bootle, Liverpool area and 2 days from home!

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone in an existing Payroll processing role who is now seeking to join a friendly firm offering a great place to work within a small payroll team offering flexible working potential (HYBRID working from office and home), free parking, pension, 23 days hols,! You will join an existing, stable and long standing payroll team department.

Overall, you should be flexible in your work approach, possess full end to end payroll processing experience undertaking weekly/monthly payroll operations and have expertise undertaking the following duties:

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: –

This is a full end to end role comprising of the following duties:

Payroll processing via STAR/IRIS payroll and some exposure to Superpay (mostly monthly payroll) experience preferred but NOT essential
Dealing with your own portfolio of clients up to 80 (able to build up at own rate)
Dealing with SMP/SSP
Pension, auto enrolment uploading of details to the pension system/portal
Dealing with starters/leavers, P45/P46’s
Setting up of new clients
CIS
RTI
Client/HMRC liaison
