Payroll Assistant Manager – Medway

Salary £30-33K

We are partnered with a successful, well established organisation based in Medway to recruit a Payroll Assistant Manager to join a close knit team within HR. The role is based in a medium sized business that will provide a busy and varied work load in a modern office environment. We are seeking candidates with experience working in this type of function previously with lots of scope to grow their skill set.

Duties:

Managing payroll function for medium size company
Line management for assistant and delegating workload
Manage end to end process for monthly and weekly payroll
Calculating overtime and timesheet conciliation
Dealing with colleague queries
Updating payroll records
Various reporting duties
Calculations for various one off payments
Process pension auto enrollments
Managerial duties as required

Requirements:

Knowledge of employment and up to date legislation
Previous experience working in HR would be desirable
Conversant with MS Office suite
Experience using SAGE 50 Payroll would be advantageous but not necessary
