Job Description
Main job functions:
Reporting to the HR Manager the post holder is typically responsible for a specific area of payroll, benefits and HR support work.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate the day-to-day running of payroll section
* To ensure that the monthly payroll is calculated and processed in a timely and accurate manner
* To ensure compliance with all ETL quality standards and procedures
* To ensure all Paperwork is accurate and processed Correctly
* Ensure that all reconciliation is completed monthly and checked prior to being submitted to Accounts
* To deal with all payrolls related correspondence both internal and external
* Support all pension administration to include, new starters leavers and retirement
* Control of benefits such as health care and pension
* Completion of monthly reports and weekly manpower figures with departments
* Completion of P11ds and Class 1A NI
* Involvement in annual PSA & dispensations
* To plan and monitor system enhancements from the HRIS
* Liaising with auditors for both payroll and pension
* Authorise and check monthly payments to third parties
* Liaise with accounts on a monthly basis in relation to control accounts
* Completion of P11d in a timely and accurate manner
Minimum Requirement:
* GCSE Maths and English
* Successful completion of psychometric tests
Experience:
* 2 years previous experience in a Payroll environment
* Previous experience of ADP is desirable but not essential
* CIPP – Payroll Technical certificate is desirable but not essential
