Job Description
Payroll Administrator

Up To £25,000 + Flexitime + Free Gym Membership + Pension + Company Laptop

Location: Leeds, LS28

We are experiencing unprecedented growth in our offices in Leeds, Newcastle, and Wakefield and in line with continued aggressive growth plans we are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to support our busiest Division. So, if you are highly organised, with an excellent work ethic, hunger to succeed experience within a busy Payroll/Accounts department then we want to hear from you!

The Role:

* Processing input for new starters and leavers. Preparing payroll and reports to send to our external payroll provider weekly.

* Process timesheets from all clients, ensuring staff are paid correctly, alongside invoicing the relevant clients for the hours candidates have worked that week.

* Ensuring permanent placements are invoiced on time.

* Dealing with pay queries from staff, ensuring communication is kept by liaising with both the candidate and clients – resolving the issue as soon as possible.

* Ensuring correct deductions are made and paid over to the relevant authorities for attachment of earnings, CSA, student loan deductions, and pension deductions.

* Keeping accurate records, reconciliations, and working papers for these deductions and payments.

* Credit control

* Allocating remittances received from customers and recording them in the company finance system.

* Assist with external auditors and internal auditors’ requirements as concerns the above elements.

* Process holidays when requested by temporary staff.

* Ensure all temporary workers are compliant.

* Communicating with clients on a regular basis to ensure a smooth running process.

The Candidate:

* Necessity for accuracy, attention to detail and numeracy.

* Good communication skills at all levels and the ability to deliver verbal and written reports.

* Commitment and confidentially.

* Ability to organise one’s own workload so as to meet deadlines.

* Be a team player but also work under one’s own initiative.

* Hands-on approach, no job too small or large.

* Commutable to our Head Office in Leeds LS28
