Job Description
My clients are looking for a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join their successful team. It will be a multifaceted role offering exposure to different workstreams, departments and challenges and an opportunity to be part of the companies exciting growth journey, with a number of live acquisitions and a strong future pipeline.

Responsibilities of a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst:

Directly support the M&A Manager and working closely with the senior management team, including the CEO, CFO and COO to deliver on the companies M&A strategy and growth ambitions

Supporting the FP&A (financial planning and analysis) team on key strategic projects

Assist in target assessment & screening, bid preparation, valuation, and synergy analysis

Supporting the due-diligence process, including coordination between internal teams and external advisers

Preparation of Board papers, investment committee memos and other relevant documents

Manage relationships with brokers and other external agents

Carrying out market assessments to keep track of investment opportunities and maintain transaction databases

Work on internal projects on an ad hoc basis, as needed

Requirements of a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst:

Background in investment banking, transaction services, corporate finance, or FP&A

Knowledge of financial services sector will be beneficial, but not essential

Ability and willingness to learn and to be able to work outside of your comfort zone

Ability to multitask, manage different stakeholders and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Financial modelling, forecasting & data analysis skills

Strong communication skills and proficiency in excel, word and PowerPoint 

Salary/ Benefits of this Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst:

£40,000 – £50,000 Basic Salary
