Job Description
SF Recruitment are currently working with a fantastic SME manufacturing business, based in Birmingham, who are looking to add a Management Accountant to the team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this Management Accountant position will take the reins of one of the groups integral entitles. Ideally suited to an experienced Accountant who has similar experience within an SME environment comfortable managing a broad role.

Key tasks:

– Prepare and post regular and ad hoc accounting journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, stock movements, provisions.
– Reconcile balance sheet control accounts and intercompany accounts.
– Bank reconciliations.
– Produce management accounts.
– Provide explanations where required for variances and unusual balances.
– Provide ad hoc analysis as required to facilitate business decisions
– Assist with year-end accounts and procedures.
– Find and implement improvements to systems and processes
– Purchase ledger
– Sales ledger
