Job Description
Bookkeeper
Location – Greater Manchester
Salary – £23,000 – £25,000
Simpson Judge are working with a distribution company, with offices based in Greater Manchester. This is a permanent opportunity with a reputable company.
Responsibilities include:
* Raising self-billing invoices for sub-contractors
* Handling payment enquiries from sub-contractors and suppliers
* Preparation of weekly & monthly payroll
* Assisting in VAT returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing supplier invoices
* Online banking payments
* Preparing reports for managers & directors
* General admin duties
Experience/Skills required:
* 3 + years' experience in the logistics industry required
* Proven experience in accountancy
* Strong Excel & Office skills
* Preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
