Description

As Assistant Payroll Manager, you will:

Working alongside the Payroll Manager to help manage the team.
Process monthly & quarterly payroll for a wide range of clients.
Be the first point of contact for the team in answering any queries.
Ability to fully provide cover for payroll manager as necessary and act self sufficiently in managing the team and client delivery.
Work alongside the Payroll Manager in overseeing the team and improving efficiency and quality of service.
Enhance and improve current systems and processes.
Ensure clients are compliant with auto enrolment pension.
Managing client relationships and build rapport to support new business enquiries. Profile

The perfect Assistant Payroll Manager will have:

Experience within a similar position
Proficient in Excel
Ability to manually calculate tax and NI
Understanding of Salary Sacrifice, creating new PAYE schemes
Able to meet tight deadlines
Good communication skills
