Job Description
Robert Walters Group: Accounts Payable Assistant – Birmingham – £20k – £24k – Permanent – Highly remote

I am currently working alongside a leading business based in Birmingham in their recruitment of an AP Assistant on a permanent basis. The salary will be paid up to £24k dependent on experience.

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant:
* First point of contact for supplier
* Manage and resolve supplier queries by email and telephone
* Identify any urgent payments to be included in the payment run
* Resolve any potential legal action due to non-payment
* Responsible for the reconciliation of supplier statements and saving files for Audit review
* Ensure all invoices are accurately processed in a timely manner
* Register and save all supplier invoices

About you as the Accounts Payable Assistant:
* Must have experience in a similar role
* Comfortable working as part of a team
* Excellent use of MS Office 365 – Outlook, Word, and Excel – VLOOKUP's
* Must be numerate, with excellent attention to detail and efficient processing skills
