Job Description
As the Accountant you will be responsible for the day to day accounting requirements including: Reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules.

The client is based in Cardiff and has onsite parking. The client is an international manufacturing company who have a great reputation within it's chosen field of expertise.
Description
As a Accountant you would be involved in:
Complete month end processes, including management of all accruals, provisions and prepayments
Production of actual P&L and balance sheet at month end to tight reporting deadlines for group consolidation.
Review and present monthly financial result to Senior Management
Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations and management of all balance sheet accounts
Production of regular forecasts and annual budgets
Production of key reports for inclusion in management accounts
Production of sales and operational reports for managers within the business
Production of group intercompany matrix
Control of customer rebates
Maintenance of fixed assets register and capital projects
Submission for all third party reports – National Statistics etc.
Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
Production of key reports for external bank reporting and audits
Preparation of schedules and samples for external audits Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
This position will appeal to candidates who are working towards or possess an accountancy related Degree or ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification
